SPANISH COFFEE CAKE 
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. salad oil

Mix these thoroughly and remove 1/2 cup of this for topping. Mix with nuts if desired. Mix 1 teaspoon baking soda and 1 teaspoon baking powder to mixture. Mix 1 egg and 1 cup milk. Add half the liquid to mixture and beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Add remaining half and beat 2 minutes longer. Pour batter into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan and sprinkle with the topping. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
