STUFFED PEPPERS 
4 med. green peppers
1/2 lb. lean ground beef
2 tbsp. chopped onion
3/4 c. croutons
1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded, divided
2 oz. can chopped mushrooms, drained
1 med. tomato, coarsely chopped
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. salt (or to taste)

Cut off tops of peppers, remove seeds and membrane, and precook in boiling water 3-5 minutes.

In skillet, brown ground beef with onion, drain. Stir in croutons, 1/4 cup cheese, mushrooms, tomato, Worcestershire sauce, and salt. Spoon into peppers, place in baking dish, cover and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup shredded cheese, and bake 5-10 minutes more.
