CONEY ISLAND HOT DOG SAUCE 
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
2 med. onions, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
Salt & pepper to taste
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. reg. prepared mustard
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (6 oz.) can water
4 or 5 hot dogs

Combine everything except hot dogs and simmer until thick. Do not brown ground beef first. Grind the hot dogs and add to sauce. Stir. Cook 15 minutes longer.
