CONEY ISLAND HOT DOG SAUCE 
1 tsp. salt
2 med. onions, chopped
4 tsp. chili powder
1 lb. ground beef (lean)
2-3 tbsp. bread crumbs

Saute onions in small amount of oil until tender. Add chili powder and mix well with the onions. Add salt and meat. Stir until redness disappears and meat mixture appears dry. Do not brown the meat. Add 1 cup of water and the bread crumbs (2-3 tablespoons). Let this simmer for 1 hour or longer until thick. Delicious for taco mixture also!
