GERMAN POTATO SALAD | |
6 med. potatoes, cooked with jackets on 4 hard cooked eggs 1 lb. bacon, diced 1/3 c. flour 1/3 c. apple cider vinegar 1/2 c. flour 1 level tsp. sugar 4 c. water 1 tsp. salt Peel and dice potatoes. Peel and dice eggs. Dice and fry bacon crisp. Remove bacon leaving 1/3 cup bacon drippings in pan. Add flour; mix. Then add water, vinegar, salt and sugar, stirring all the time. Boil good then pour over potato, eggs and bacon. Mix. May need a little more water. Serve warm. |
