CHOCOLATE TRIFLE 
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
2 pkg. instant chocolate pudding

Prepare cake mix according to directions and bake. Break into pieces and spread half the cake in a 6 quart glass bowl, or small punch bowl. Prepare one package pudding, spread on cake. Spread 8 ounces Cool Whip. Layer remaining cake, along with second package of pudding and 12 ounces of Cool Whip. Top with chocolate Jimmies.

Yellow cake mix may be substituted, as well as vanilla pudding, pineapple, strawberries, or other fruit.
