STUFFED BELL PEPPERS 
6 fresh green peppers
6 ears of fresh corn
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped fresh onion
Salt and pepper to taste

Cut tops from the green peppers and remove seeds and membranes. Cook in boiling, salted water until partially done, then drain. Cut the corn from cobs and place in a skillet. Add 1/2 cup water and cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until water has evaporated. Add the ground beef, onion, salt and pepper and cook until beef is brown, stirring occasionally. Stuff the green peppers with corn mixture and place in a baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. Green peppers may be stuffed with other mixtures, if desired.
