CHERRY LOAF CAKE | |
1 pkg. pudding type yellow cake mix Butter or oil Eggs 1/2 c. water 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling Confectioners' sugar Prepare cake mix according to package directions, using butter or oil, eggs, and reduce water to 1/2 cup. Spread batter in greased 9x13x2 inch pan. Spoon cherry pie filling evenly over batter. Fold filling into batter just enough to give marbled effect. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes or until cake tests done by springing back when lightly touched in center. Cool. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Makes 12 servings. |
