CHOCOLATE BUTTER BRICKLE BARS
1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 tsp. salt, divided
1 pkg. (6 oz.) butterscotch chips
1/4 c. light corn syrup
2 tbsp. water
1 c. chopped pecans
1 pkg. (6 oz.) milk chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, 1/2 cup butter, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Press mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake 10 minutes or until golden.

While crust is baking, melt butterscotch chips, corn syrup, 2 tablespoons butter, water and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in pecans. While crust is still warm, spread mixture over top of crust. Allow to cool completely.

Melt chocolate chips and spread over butterscotch layer. Chill 10 minutes or until chocolate is set.
