RAINBOW POPCORN BALLS 
1 c. sugar
1 c. corn syrup
1 (3 oz.) pkg. gelatin, any flavor
1 c. unpopped popcorn, or a little more

Pop the corn, adding no salt or butter. Meanwhile, measure sugar, syrup and gelatin into a saucepan and heat to a full, rolling boil. Pour hot syrup over popped corn. Let set until cool enough to handle. Form into balls. These can be wrapped in plastic wrap or placed in individual plastic bags. By varying the kind of gelatin, the popcorn balls can be made orange for Halloween, red or green for Christmas, and so on.
