LINGUICA AND BEANS 
3-4 c. pinto beans
1 can tomato paste
1 can water or 2 cans tomato sauce
2-3 chopped onions
1/2 link linguica, coin size
1/2 lb. bacon, diced
1-2 tsp. pepper
1 to 1 1/2 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. powdered garlic

Soak beans overnight with enough water to cover 1/2 inch over top. Fry linguica and bacon. Bring beans to a boil and add remaining ingredients and cook 3-4 hours. Do not let liquid boil dry.
