SNICKERDOODLES 
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat. Sift dry ingredients then add to mixture and blend. Roll into walnut size balls. Roll balls in a saucer of cinnamon and sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
