REFRIGERATED GINGER COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. molasses
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger

Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg and molasses. Sift dry ingredients together and add. Press into wax paper lined refrigerator tray, or make into a roll. Chill. Cut and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Quick Mix Method: Process wet ingredients until just mixed well. Add dry ingredients and process only until well mixed.
