1 lb. butter (not any other substitute)
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3 3/4 c. flour

Mix well butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Fold in flour. Chill 1 hour. Use cookie gun to stamp out cookies on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. Makes 72 (1 inch) cookies. Wonderful with a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate.
