SPICED PECANS | |
1 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. water 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/2 c. pecans Combine sugar, water, cinnamon, and salt in saucepan. Heat to 232 degrees (thread stage). Add vanilla and pecans. Stir until pecans are well coated and mixture becomes creamy. Pour onto greased platter or baking sheet. With spoons or forks, separate nuts as they cool. |
