GRANNY'S SPICED PECANS 
1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 1/2 c. pecan halves

Cook water, sugar and cinnamon until it reaches the thread stage (232 F.). Remove from heat. Stir in pecans until they start to sugar. Pour out onto waxed paper and break apart with a fork. Let cool. Store in airtight container.
