CONEY ISLAND SAUCE 
2 lbs. ground chuck
1/2 of (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. chili seasoning mix
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. tomato juice

Brown and drain ground chuck. Combine all ingredients and simmer on low heat for 1 1/2 hours. Makes 5 cups sauce.
