EASY CAKE DESSERT 
1 pkg. lemon cake mix (or any other kind)
1 pkg. lemon instant pudding (or any other kind)
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip

Mix and bake cake according to directions in a 9 x 13 pan. Cool cake completely. Poke holes in cake with a small wooden spoon handle.

Mix instant pudding according to directions. Pour 1/2 of mixture over cake. Spread remaining pudding over cake once it is set. Then top with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans if you wish.
