APPLE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. regular oil
1 egg
2 c. chopped apples
1 to 2 c. chopped pecans
1 to 2 c. raisins
5 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. butter
5 tbsp. milk

Sift dry ingredients. Add apples, nuts and raisins. Stir in oil and eggs. Mix well. Pour into 9 x 13 greased pan.

Bake at 350°F for approximately 55 minutes.

Add to warm cake the last 3 ingredients. Boil until thick. Pour over cake.
