GLAZED CARROTS 
1 qt. canned carrots

(Small whole Belgium carrots are the very best, they are available in 16 ounce jars.) 1/2 c. light brown sugar

Drain carrots. Place them in a baking dish, sprinkle with sugar and dot with butter. Bake at 450 degrees for about 20 minutes.

If fresh carrots are used, pare, boil until tender, then proceed as above.
