2 cans Pillsbury crescent rolls
2 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla or flavor of your choice
1 egg or egg yolk, beaten, mixed well
Brown sugar

Using a cookie sheet or jelly roll pan with care place the contents of 1 can Pillsbury crescent rolls on sheet pan.

Mix well together 2 packages cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla or flavor of your choice. Spread with in 1/4 inch of outside edges of crescent rolls on cookie sheet or jelly roll pan.

With care place the second can's contents of Pillsbury crescent rolls over the cream cheese mixture, as a top crust. Be sure to seal the outside edges as you would if this were the top crust of a pie. Also be sure to always seal all seams of the crescent rolls to make sheet of dough. Brush on beaten egg or egg yolk. Sprinkle top with brown sugar.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place cookie sheet, jelly roll pan in preheated oven. Bake for 20 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Refrigerate at least 4 hours and more if you like. Cut in squares. Enjoy!
