VIENESE TORTE 
Pound cake
1 pkg. chocolate bits (semi-sweet)
1/4 lb. butter
1/4 c. water
4 egg yolks, beaten
2 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Cut cake lengthwise in 6 slices. Freeze. Melt and blend in pan (not double boiler) chocolate, butter, and water. Add small amount of hot chocolate mix to eggs, then add the rest of eggs to hot mixture and stir until well mixed. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Cool about 45 minutes until it reaches spreading consistency. Spread between layers of cake and assemble. Spread on outside to cover and freeze.
