SHEPHERD'S PIE WITH BEEF | |
1 tbsp. cooking oil 1 lb. ground beef 1 med. onion, chopped 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 3 c. mashed potatoes 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese Heat oil in skillet, over medium-high heat. Saute beef and onion until onion is transparent and beef is browned. Stir in salt and pepper. Put mixture in a 1 1/2 quart ungreased baking dish. Spread mashed potatoes on top of mixture, then sprinkle cheese on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. Serves 5 to 6. |
