3 c. raw peanuts
1 c. milk
2 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. white corn syrup
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
4 drops red food coloring

Place first 4 ingredients in a large pan and bring to a boil. Boil on low heat (mixture barely boiling) for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add the butter, vanilla and food coloring. Beat until stiff and spoon on buttered cookie sheet to cool.
