1 lg. can Milnot 14 oz. caramels 1 box German chocolate cake mix 1 c. chopped nuts 12 oz. chocolate chips Pour 2/3 cup Milnot in double boiler. Add caramels, melt, stirring frequently. Blend the remaining Milnot and cake mix. Add nuts. Spread half of cake mixture on bottom of greased 9x12 pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 9-11 minutes. Spread top with caramel sauce and chocolate chips. Pour remaining cake mixture on top of caramel and bake additional 20-25 minutes. |
