ELVERA'S RICE HOTDISH 
1 c. rice, extra long (not instant)
2 c. water
1 lb. ground beef
2 c. chopped celery
2 onions
1 can golden mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 tbsp. soy sauce
Pepper to taste

Cook rice according to directions on package. Brown onion and beef. Simmer celery in water until tender. Add soups, celery and celery liquid. Add more water if necessary. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
