1 c. oil 2 sticks butter 1 c. powdered sugar 1 c. white sugar 2 eggs 4 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla Mix and drop by spoonfuls. Press down with greased tumbler dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. | |

I tried the batter,it was not tasty. Added an extra cup of sugar, extra egg, and 2 more tsp to vanilla. It saved the recipe.

I made the recipe with the added suggestions by Sherry. The dough was really soft so the first batch came out really flat and the cookie didn't hold it's shape. I put the batter in the fridge for 2 hours and then baked a batch. They held their shape so much better. Kids loved them.
