BOURBON BARBEQUED RIBS | |
1 c. ketchup 1/4 c. molasses 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1 tbsp. lemon juice 4 1/2 lbs. fresh pork spareribs, cut into serving pieces 1/3 c. bourbon 2 tbsp. vinegar 1 tbsp. soy sauce 2 cloves garlic, crushed Hot pepper sauce to taste Mix all ingredients except spareribs; let stand at room temperature for 1 1/2 hours. Place spareribs, meaty side up, on rack in shallow roasting pan. Roast, uncovered in 325 degree oven 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Brush sauce over ribs, roasting, turning and brushing frequently with sauce until ribs are done. Heat remaining sauce to boil, serve with ribs. If served on platter, garnish with lemon slices. |
