SHORT RIBS AND LIMA BEANS 
3 lbs. short ribs
2 tbsp. fat
1 onion, diced
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. lemon rind
1 1/2 c. water
1 can green lima beans

Brown ribs in fat - remove to casserole. Saute onions, pour off drippings. Add remaining ingredients except lima beans. Bring to a boil - pour over ribs in casserole dish. Bake uncovered 1 1/4 hours at 400 degrees or until meat is tender. Add lima beans. Cover and bake 30 minutes longer. Garnish with slices of onions.
