CREME DE MENTHE SQUARES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (1 lb.) can Hershey chocolate syrup

Cream butter, sugar, add eggs to this and beat until creamy smooth. Add flour, vanilla, salt, and syrup. Pour into ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1/2 hour. Let cake cool completely.

Step 2:
1/2 c. butter
2 c. confectioners sugar
2 tbsp. green creme de menthe

Mix with electric beaten until creamy. Spread over cold cake and refrigerate until firm to touch.

Step 3:
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
6 tbsp. butter

Melt together in double boiler, and cool. Pour over top to frost. Refrigerate to harden. Bring to room temperature before cutting into squares.
