HOMEMADE ICE CREAM FOR FREEZER 
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. whipping cream
1 qt. half and half
2 tbsp. vanilla

In a large mixing bowl beat eggs until foamy. Gradually add sugar; beat until thickened. Add cream and half and half, vanilla, and salt; mix thoroughly. Pour into can. Add milk to fill line on can (if necessary) and stir well. Freeze as usual.
