OVERNIGHT CABBAGE SLAW | |
1/2 med. cabbage 1 sm. sweet or red onion 1/2 med. green pepper 2 carrots, peeled 2/3 c. vinegar 1/3 c. oil 1/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper Slice cabbage, onion, and pepper. Shred carrots. Add to cabbage mixture. Mix vinegar, oil, sugar, salt and pepper. Process until well mixed; pour over vegetables. Cover, refrigerate at least 8 hours before serving. Stir thoroughly; then drain. Makes 6 servings. |
