CHEESEBURGER CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped green pepper (optional)
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/8 tsp. pepper
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/4 c. catsup
8 oz. American cheese (about 3 or 4 slices)
1 box Jiffy cornbread or biscuits

Brown ground beef, green peppers and onion. Drain. Stir in pepper, tomato sauce and catsup. Heat. Alternate meat and cheese in 2 quart casserole dish. Arrange biscuits or Jiffy cornbread mixture (follow the directions on top of box) on top and bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
