HOMEMADE TORTILLAS 
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. lard
10 c. flour
5 tsp. flour
1 qt. warm water
Salt to taste

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Add more warm water, if necessary. Knead dough at least 10 minutes. Turn into greased bowl, greasing outside of dough well. Let stand and rest for 30 minutes. Shape dough into small, even balls. Roll out in circles. Fry on dry cast iron griddle. May be frozen for later use. Yield: 4 dozen.
