QUICK SPICED PEACHES 
1 (28 oz.) can peach halves
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. cider vinegar or marsala wine
2 sticks cinnamon
1 tsp. whole cloves
1 tsp. whole allspice

Drain peaches, reserve syrup; add sugar, vinegar or wine and spices to syrup; boil 5 minutes. Chill peaches in spicy syrup overnight. Before serving drain and place whole clove in each peach. Serves 6.
