FRUIT COCKTAIL COOKIES 
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening
1/4 tsp. salt
3 well beaten eggs
2 c. drained fruit cocktail
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees until lightly brown.
