1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (9 oz.) pkg. condensed mince meat

Makes about 6 dozen cookies. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In large bowl cream together shortening and sugar. Add egg, beating until smooth. Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to creamed mixture. Mix well.

Crumble and stir in mince meat. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
