MARYLAND LADY CRAB CAKES | |
1 lb. crab meat 1 c. Italian bread crumbs 1 lg. egg or 2 sm. 1/4 c. mayonnaise 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper Remove cartilage from meat. Mix crumbs, egg, mayonnaise, and seasonings. Add meat and mix gently but thoroughly. If too dry, add a little more mayonnaise. Shape into 6 cakes. Just enough butter or oil to prevent sticking until brown. 5 minutes each side. |
