BEST YET AND EASIEST MADE ROLLS
1 c. scalded milk
2 pkgs. yeast dissolved in 1/4 c. lukewarm water
2 eggs, slightly beaten with fork
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cooking oil
1 1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour

To the scalded milk add sugar, oil, salt, eggs, and lastly the yeast mixture. Then with a spoon stir in the 4 cups of flour. Do not beat, just stir until flour is mixed in well.

Leave dough in mixing bowl and cover. Let rise until batter has doubled in size. Work in enough flour (2/3 cup) to shape dough into balls, leaving dough slightly sticky. Let rolls rise until double in size, then bake in 375 degree oven. Makes 2 dozen.
