PECAN LOGS 
1/3 c. soft butter
1/3 c. white corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 lb. Kraft caramels
2 tbsp. Half and Half
Chopped pecans

Combine butter, syrup, salt, vanilla, and sugar in bowl, knead with hands until well mixed. Shape into logs 3/4 x 4 inches. Refrigerate at least 12 hours. Melt caramels with Half and Half until hot but not boiling water. Coat logs with caramel mixture using a knife and roll quickly in chopped pecans and place on wax paper.
