SOFT PRETZEL SHAPES 
1 envelope dry yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
4 c. flour
coarse salt

Soften yeast in water. Mix 1 teaspoon salt, sugar and flour into it and knead. Give each child a ball of dough to roll and twist into any shape. Lay on greased cookie sheets and brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt.

Bake at 425°F for 12 to 15 minutes.
