WHIPPED CREAM CAKE 
1 c. cream, whipped
3 egg whites
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cold water
3 level tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. pastry flour

Sift flour and sugar separately 3 times. Whip cream. Beat egg whites. Fold whipped cream and egg whites together. Sift all dry ingredients together and add alternately with the cold water. Fold in whipped cream and egg white mixture. Do not beat. Fold in vanilla. Makes 2 (8") layers or 3 small layers. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Bake until cake pulls from side of pan.
