GRAHAM CRACKER CAKE | |
1/2 c. shortening 3/4 c. granulated sugar 1/4 c. brown sugar 3 eggs, separated 1 c. milk 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. chopped walnuts 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. flour 25 graham crackers Roll graham crackers to make 1 1/2 cups; add to flour. Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg yolks and beat. Add milk. Mix graham crackers/flour with baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Add nuts and vanilla. Fold in beaten egg whites. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Use Quick Butterscotch Frosting. |
