GRANDMA'S GINGER BREAD | |
2 c. self-rising flour 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 2 tsp. ginger 1 tsp. baking soda 1 3/4 c. Grandma's molasses 1 c. buttermilk 1/2 c. Crisco 1/2 c. butter 2 eggs Sift dry ingredients into mixing bowl. Add molasses, Crisco, butter, milk and eggs. Beat all ingredients 3 minutes. Bake in preheated oven, 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until ginger bread leaves edge of pan. |
