EDMONIA'S COOKIES 
2 sticks butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. light brown sugar
3 eggs
2 c. plain flour
2 tbsp. vanilla flavor
1 c. pecans
2 full tsp. baking powder

Mix the same way you would a cake. Spread dough on wax paper, foil or freezer paper. Cut paper wide enough to cover about 2 inch roll of dough. Place rolls in freezer. Take out a roll and cut across in slices for desired cookie size. Bake at 350 degrees. They will keep unbaked several weeks when properly wrapped in the freezer.
