GRANDMA'S STEW 
2 lbs. stew beef, cubed
5 or 6 carrots, cut in bite sized pieces
4 or 5 stalks celery, cut in bite sized pieces
2 onions, cut in bite sized pieces
6 potatoes, cut in bite sized pieces
1/2 c. V-8 juice
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
Pepper to taste
2 tbsp. minute tapioca

Place beef, carrots, celery and onions in Dutch oven. Pour V-8, spices, sugar and tapioca over meat and vegetable mixture. Cover tightly. Bake 4 hours at 250 degrees. Add potatoes last hour. Cover and bake.
