RUTH'S BAKED BEANS 
1 lb. bacon slices
2 lg. onions, thinly sliced (leave in rings)
2 sm. garlic cloves, crushed
1 c. green peppers, thinly sliced
3 (16 oz.) cans pork & beans, any brand
2 tbsp. molasses
1 c. barbecue sauce, your favorite brand

Fry bacon until crisp, drain and crumble. Pour off all but 4 to 5 tablespoons bacon grease. Add onions, garlic and green pepper. Saute until onions are tender, but not brown. Add beans, bacon, molasses and BBQ sauce.

Pour into 3 quart casserole; bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
