IRISH BREAD 
1 c. stone ground whole wheat flour
2 c. white flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 pt. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar

Mix dry ingredients together. Make well in center; add milk (might not need it all). Place flour on board, knead until smooth and elastic. Add more flour on board as needed. Shape into oblong or circle. Place on greased cookie sheet or pie pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
