GRANDMA'S CARAMEL CANDY 
2 c. thin cream (1 c. half & half & 1 c. whipping cream mixed)
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nutmeats

Bring to a boil 1 cup cream, 1 cup butter and 1 3/4 cups corn syrup. Slowly add another cup cream without stopping the boiling. Cook to hard boil stage, stirring occasionally. Add nuts and vanilla and pour into buttered pan. Cool, cut and enjoy.
