GOLDEN CANDY CARAMELS 
1/2 lb. butter

1 lb. sugar

1 c. light corn syrup

1 can sweetened condensed milk

1 tsp. vanilla

2 c. broken nut meats

Melt butter. Add rest of ingredients, stirring constantly to 240 degrees. Remove from heat. Add nuts and vanilla. Pour into pan and cut into squares. Wrap in wax paper.
